Our writer Shred Jesse happened to be out at The Ridge Motorsports Park this past weekend driving his 1999 C5 Corvette and he stopped to chat with some other C5 Corvette owners and grab some photos! The track day was a nice fun and cool day, only interrupted briefly by a short rain spell which dried out quickly.
This black C5 Z06 is a highly customized car. The owner mostly drives for fun and doesn't care a lot about lap numbers, but that doesn't mean this full aero beast on slicks can't put down some pretty fast lap times!
While the Black Z06 was pretty exceptional... this fellow was out for his first track day in his C5 Corvette. We remember those days! Jesse was only able to catch up with the owner briefly before they went out for their session, but it seemed to be nothing but ear to ear grins out there from them!
