The factory limited slip differential on the Corvette... one of my many features that make that Corvette stand out over other sports car offerings. Even better yet, the differentials on these Corvettes are pretty robust and can handle the vast majority of users use cases and even hand some rather notable power gains. While the differentials on these corvettes are quite robust, they do require some basic maintenance to keep happy. Most folks recommend changing the differnetial every 20k miles

However, there were some growing pains along the way for the LS1 engine. One area of difficult for the LS1 was

How to Lower the C5 Corvette, organized from least to most effective.

A low to the ground sports car not only looks sleek, but in theory is that much more performant. Air can't get under the car, it's going to be more aerodynamic and thus be faster right? Sort of... the devil is in the details! Let's start off by addressing the most common thought: The GM Engineers knew what they were doing... but had some restrictions. The GM engineers needed to make these cars perform, but also be livable. The car

C5 Corvette Brake Upgrade Options

If you've got a C5 Corvette, chances are pretty good it's pushing over 20 years old, if not older. While these cars were no slouch for their day, they definitely have had improvements over the years and even between models. The base model C5 has 12.6" front brake rotors and 11.6" rears and by contrast the C5 Z06 uses 13.4" front rotors, 12" rear rotors and the C6Z06 has 14" front rotors and 13.4" rear rotors.
