Is no surprise to see C5 Corvettes at the racetrack, and this past weekend at Thunderhill West with Reno SCCA was no exception. Corvettes from the C5 all the way up to the C8 were out in force... including a ZR1!

What might surprise those less familiar with the C5 platform is that it didn’t just show up.. it dominated. Our own Shred Jesse took first place and set the class record in SCCA Max 2 on Saturday running the Thunderhill West CCW Full layout. On Sunday, he returned to not only claim another Max 2 win and record, but also capture the overall SCCA track record on the Thunderhill West Bypass.

Here are just a few of the C5 Corvettes spotted at the event. There were more in attendance, but time was short to capture photos of them all!
