In the not so distant past, Continental tires acquired Hoosier, bringing together two tire producing powerhouses and resulting in a lot of technology crossover. Continental already had a great 200tw offering, the Extreme Contact Force, but it was more of an enthusiast tire and not really a "super" or "enduro" 200tw tire. This left a bit of a gap in the offerings of Hoosier/Continental compared to their competitors... and thus Hooiser came to release it's new entry into the "super" 200tw tire category, the Hoosier Track Attack tire.
We'll try and get a review of the tire out this season if we can get our hands on a pair, but for now, here's the promo description from Hooiser:
Designed for drivers who live life on the edge, demanding the ultimate track day weapon, the TrackAttack Pro masters both street and track. Harnessing Hoosier’s unparalleled racing DNA, taking track dominance to the street, the TrackAttack Pro drives highly addictive performance. This revolutionary extreme performance summer tire awakens mundane commutes, empowers epic track days – and ignites legendary journeys in between.
